I'm so glad that I am able to look back on old writing. I am able to measure/distinguish how different I am now from back then. But love is a constant. Loving others, being in love, wanting to show love. I've never really focused on myself--my needs, my development, my own affirmation. We all die alone, so we need to learn how to love ourselves. I'm reading bell hooks and I ordered a copy for Adam. Because we all deserve to know what love is, and bell hooks is right to say we live loveless lives.

2013 will be interesting, challenging, transformative. And I'll develop my understanding of love, and continue loving.
